Nicki GillisAn extraordinary vocalist with the ability to capture her audience's attention and mesmerise them with every note. Her music comes from the heart and brings with it a soulful understanding that draws her audiences near.
Originally from Western Australia, Nicki's commitment and passion to her profession saw her relocate to the East Coast to help develop her career.
Nicki comes from a musical family, with her parents introducing her to the world of music featuring church choirs, musicals and Emmylou Harris. Those roots are clearly evident in her performances today.

The Tomkins Mandolin: The neck is bolt on birdseye maple with birdseye fingerboard, abalone block inlays, grained ivoriod/black/ivoroid bindings, Gotoh tuners, full floating adjustable truss rod at the peg head end. Bursted brown nitrocellulose finish.
The body is chambered red cedar with red cedar figured cap, bound with matching neck bindings and finished to match the neck. The bridge is custom machined from brass to accept the RMC pick up system. The bridge is special machined brass with hinged cover and 'o' rings under the string mounts to cancel out behind bridge harmonics, and is finished matt nickel with etchings. The strings are .011----.038". The battery box is fitted to the back with quick change facility. The stereo jack electrosocket is fitted to the lower edge of the instrument.
